Almost first fast day and Tofu stir fry

I wasn't sure this morning if I am going to do my first fast day today and only eat around 500 cal. I had a green smoothie for breakfast which had banana in it with kale, spinach, lemon, nectarine and maka powder.

Then for lunch I had a little porridge, little because it boiled over in the microwave and there wasn't much left to eat on the plate. Then I got "sushi" from Marks and Spencer, 175 cal. After I got back home from work I made myself a spicy carrot, tomato, lentil soup. Not much lentil in it, mostly carrots mashed in the blender (after boiling of course)  and then mixed with canned tomato and boiled lentils and lots of chilli and black pepper.I had my soup with couple slices of toast...

So I believe I have eaten more than 500 cal today but still really lightly. I wasn't even craving for anything else, I only ate because I was hungry.

I have to say I already feel much better than couple days ago after heavy festive eating and drinking.

Also I think I leave the proper fast days until next week, as I really need to study for the Biomedicine exam that is on this weekend.

Last night I found out that I am still not pregnant, so I made some comfort food - Tofu Stir Fry.

This is how I made it

First cut the tofu in pieces and boil it for couple of minutes. Then stir fry the vegetables and mi
x soy sauce, black pepper, sugar, chilli and put the boiled tofus on the top and mix gently with vegs.  Tofu doesn't need much frying. Serve with brown rice.

Enjoy!
